Feedback and Day of photography

Today we got our books back from marking, we gave them in last Thursday, consisting of the concealed and revealed theme we were set over summer. I got a C grade, with a potential B. I saw why I got that and know how to improve, hopefully next time I boost up to a high B.
I wrote down my reflection just after the project ends in my book.

We also went out during our 2nd hour to do photography, our objective was simple. To take portraits of different types, such as close ups, long shots and medium shots. Me and my 2 friends went to the graveyard for this, the location was obviously popular due to how a few groups of people from our class were there. Here are my favourites from today, edited at home in Adobe Lightroom.

Introduction

Hi i'm Akshay Mason, under the alias of GotNoodles? online. this is my art photography blog for A levels, so i'll be posting my experiences and work here. If anyone one of the 0 people reading this want to see my work I've done so far, follow this link http://www.flickr.com/photos/gotnoodles/ and maybe even follow me :)
So far I've done some summer work for Art photography, the theme is Concealed and Revealed, although I still need to do a set of photos for the topic, I have written about Imogen Cunningham, I have re-created a photo of Imogen's called Messy bed.
Below is her picture
and this is my modern re-creation

The reason I used that photo was because of how simple it was, it was a typical messy bad back then, I can imagine she woke up and then took a picture of the bed after coming from somewhere, similar to my photograph in which I just saw upstairs in that state, reminding me of that photo I saw. The messy bed characterizes the character, the person who got up from that bed didn't tidy before doing what ever they needed to do, leaving objects behind, in Imogens picture she only leaves behind a few pins, showing she's a bit more of a tidy lady, where as in mine I left clothes, money and my camera lens before I headed out, showing me and messy. The two conflict, keeping the same idea, but making them different at the same time.

I will keep this blog updated for the future.
Ciao
